Ristretto Mojo

corey January 12th, 2009

Our fanatical baristas at Epic have been experimenting with a sublime mix of warm melted Belgian couverture chocolate and a double ristretto. The end result is the Ristretto Mojo, an intense almost chocolate ganache sensation with a foam-like texture. The Mojo needs to be stirred for ten seconds before drinking to achieve the gel consistency. Not for the faint-hearted and definitely worth trying once in your life. It’s kind of a ‘in the know’ type drink that’s not on our menu, but if you’re ‘in the know’ order it and then head straight to the gym.

    Sounds awesome!

Don’t know how I am going to ask the guys at the counter for some Mojo. I can just see it now … “another espresso? No, I would like some Mojo” :-)

    Dear Glen

Please be assured that nothing makes the Epic baristas more happier than we are asked for more mojo.

I got to stick my finger in Aaron’s mojo and can assure everyone it was delicious. The extreme coffee flavour was subdued by the chocolate a lot which meant it wasn’t as “difficult” for non-espresso drinkers to taste.

Sorry, I mean expresso drinkers ;)
